String Band is an extra-curricular musical ensemble that rehearses Thursday afternoons  from 5:30-7:00 PM in the Orchestra Room (A115) beginning in September. String band is open to all string instruments in addition to those who are versed in fiddle, banjo, guitar, and mandolin. Instruction is not available on any instrument so please bring your experience. Students from the String Band perform at annual music events including the orchestra concerts and lobby shows. This band is open to experienced string players currently enrolled in a curricular music ensemble including orchestra, band, or choir. Exceptions may be made for those with guitar, mandolin, or banjo experience.
