ETHS Orchestras Registration Information for  Orchestra Class of 2027

Welcome to ETHS!

Families, please refer to this information as you go through the process of requesting courses for your student’s freshman year. We hope this information will be helpful to you as you plan your schedule for the 2023-2024 school year!

Students Select: “Orchestra” MU0170.

We have already pre-approved your child’s enrollment in HS orchestra, based on their participation in their middle school program. All you have to do is sign up!
 

How To Request Orchestra As An Elective At Course Request Night

All freshmen will be guided through an online course request process as part of the Course Request Night experience. You will be prompted to choose whether you want to take Biology as a freshman (a graduation requirement that most of our orchestra students take freshmen year, though you can take it as a sophomore) and to choose whether you would like to take a World Language. Then you will be asked to select 6 elective choices and rank them.
 

Rank Orchestra (MU0170) as your 1st elective choice. You will be asked to rank your top 6 elective choices of the dozen or so options available to you as freshman. Rank Orchestra MU0170 as your number 1 choice of these six choices. Since you will be required to choose 6 options, this is a great opportunity to think through some other classes you might want to take in future years!

That’s it! You have now prioritized ORCHESTRA as your top elective choice!
